My work has evolved across artistry, education, leadership, mentorship and community impact, united by one belief: the greatest success is measured not only by what you create, but by what you help others become.

A career can be measured in titles, awards and milestones. But some of the most meaningful work happens when you help another person discover what they are capable of.
Through hairdressing education and mentorship, I share more than technical skill. I help create confidence, opportunity and a pathway towards possibility.
Because knowledge becomes legacy when it is passed on.

Ezra is a true artist when it comes to styling. Her ability to understand a person, envision the complete look and bring it to life with creativity and precision is exceptional. Working alongside Ezra has been an absolute pleasure. She is exceptionally talented, creative and passionate about the art of styling, with a remarkable eye for detail and an innate ability to transform a look with elegance, individuality and sophistication. What stands out to me is not only her technical skill and creativity, but also the professionalism, confidence and genuine passion she brings to everything she does. She has a wonderful ability to combine artistry with an understanding of what makes each individual look and feel their very best. I have had the privilege of working with Ezra through seminars and workshops, and I can confidently recommend her as a highly skilled and dedicated styling professional. She brings artistry, excellence and personality to her work, qualities that truly sets her apart and make her a pleasure to work with.
I heard about Ezra while attending an Intercoiffure event in Switzerland. I knew I had to meet her and see this "school" she was running! A few short years later I met Ezra when I volunteered at EFL SA in 2023. My first impression was she was welcoming and grateful to have me in her classroom. She was ready to throw me into the system she created. Over the course of my stay I learned of her commitment and her biting wit! She is a very encouraging person and I saw the deep respect and commitment from her students. Ezra gave me the grand tour of her Ottery salon and allowed me to speak with staff, and even encouraged staff to ask me for feedback on their upcoming participation in the Intercoiffure Congress being held in a few days! That demonstrated her graciousness, in her belief in my skill and talent as a designer. To allow me that opportunity speaks volumes. I was able to see Ezra's talent with her staff, her EFL students, and over these few years within her Intercoiffure family! She and her staff are educated, engaging and focused on great service and skill. The cherry on TOP!
Having had the privilege of hosting a number of her seminars, I am continually impressed by the depth of her knowledge and, more importantly, the way she shares it. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and she has an incredible ability to explain even the most complex techniques in a clear, practical and understandable way. What stands out most is the patience and genuine care she shows towards every student and stylist, ensuring that everyone feels supported, encouraged and confident in their learning. Ezra's commitment to education and to developing the skills of others is genuinely inspiring. She is not only an exceptional educator, but a true master of her craft. We are incredibly fortunate to have her share her knowledge and experience with our stylists.
I've been a loyal client of Coiffure Ezra for over three years, and I continue to be impressed by the expertise and professionalism I receive. I particularly value her exceptional knowledge and skill in colouring. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, she continues to keep up with the latest trends and techniques, including travelling internationally to stay at the forefront of her profession. I always feel welcomed at the salon, with a warm and friendly reception from the entire team. I have every intention of remaining a loyal customer of Coiffure Ezra and would highly recommend the salon to anyone looking for experience, expertise and genuine care.
I am Hayley Mary Van Leeve, with 39 years of experience in the hairdressing industry. I have had the privilege of working with Ezra Isaacs of Coiffure Ezra for more than 20 years, and she has been an important part of my professional journey. During my time as a Senior Technician at Modern Hair, distributors of Wella, Sebastian, Nioxen and Kadus, Ezra and I worked together on numerous seminars and training events across South Africa. Ezra's speciality has always been upstyling, long hair and braiding, but what truly sets her apart is her incredible creativity. She has always had the ability to create innovative ideas on the spur of the moment, using hairpieces, flowers, hats, jewels and even leftover hair to create unique designs. We shared a strong passion for creativity, colour, education and the hair industry, and I spent many afternoons and evenings training her staff and sharing ideas with her. Ezra has also been a leader in the industry, including serving as President of Intercoiffure. I have watched her develop many talented hairstylists who went on to win competitions, establish successful careers and even open their own salons. Her journey is particularly inspiring because she established herself as a woman of colour during a time when segregation still affected the hair industry. Through determination, talent and hard work, she created her own legacy and opened doors for others. Today, I regard Ezra as a role model, mentor and inspiration. Even after many years in the industry, she continues to learn and develop herself. About a year ago, we attended a facilitator's course together, and I remember saying to her, "Ezra, you're not giving up!" That moment inspired me because it reminded me that passion has no age limit. Ezra is a woman of creativity, resilience, leadership and vision, and her greatest legacy is not only the beautiful work she has created, but the many people she has inspired and developed throughout her career. I am proud to have worked alongside her for more than two decades and to continue sharing the passion we have for this incredible industry.
Ezra Isaacs is a true industry leader whose influence has helped shape the hairdressing industry and the Intercoiffure community. With a career driven by passion, excellence and a deep commitment to education, she has played a significant role in inspiring and developing the next generation of hair professionals. Her greatest legacy lies not only in her expertise and contribution to the industry, but in her dedication to empowering young people, creating opportunities and sharing knowledge. Ezra represents the very best of our industry leadership with purpose, education with passion, and a genuine desire to leave a lasting impact.
I am pleased to offer this testimonial for Ezra Isaacs, a true artist in the realm of Hairdressing Skills. Ezra combines outstanding technical ability with limitless creativity to create styles that evoke confidence and beauty. Her professionalism is evident in every interaction, providing a welcoming and enhanced experience. As a devoted WorldSkills trainer, she mentors aspiring hairstylists, guiding them to realize their full potential. She imparts her knowledge to the next generation of hairstylists, cultivating future leaders in the industry with passion, precision, and a dedication to excellence. For her, it is about more than hairstyling. It is about instilling confidence, creativity, and the bravery to aspire to great heights.
I have watched Ezra command stages across continents with grace and authority. She is the kind of individual that motivates you to evolve, despite limitations. The beauty industry is better for it, because of Ezra's generous and deeply inspiring journey.
I have had the privilege of working alongside Ezra Isaacs as a fellow WorldSkills trainer and mentor, preparing hairdressing competitors for Provincial, National, and International competitions. Ezra is a strong leader whose guidance and motivation inspire both trainers and competitors alike. Her extensive experience in competition styling, particularly her mastery of upstyling, is of immense value to the industry. Ezra's dynamic presence, unwavering commitment, and exceptional skill are matched by her integrity, making her a true asset to the profession. It is an absolute pleasure to collaborate with someone so dedicated, talented, and impactful.
It has been a privilege to learn from Ezra Isaacs, a true legend in the hairdressing industry. As a renowned stylist, she has stood out nationally and internationally for her exceptional talent, creativity, and dedication to the craft. Her work carries international depth, and her fine eye for finish, balance, and detail continues to inspire both young and old. Ezra's experience as a judge has allowed her to recognise and award excellence with a keen and professional eye. She has also been a valuable Trade Test Assessor, sharing her knowledge with fairness, insight, and a deep understanding of industry standards. Her national and international recognition reflects the high regard in which she is held by the hairdressing community. When Ezra hosts a styling workshop at SHA, we are always amazed by her delivery. Her sessions are structured, engaging, and filled with practical notes that make learning clear and memorable. These wonderful qualities make her a seasoned mentor, an inspirational leader, and a trainer who leaves a lasting impact on every student blessed to learn from her. My experience working with Ezra on fashion shoots has been equally inspiring. In her role as Fashion Coordinator, she brings a clear creative vision, calm leadership, and an exceptional ability to pull every element together with style and purpose. Her understanding of balance, finish, presentation, and overall visual impact adds great value to every shoot.
